After years in the beauty industry, Jim Bagley knew exactly what he wanted Linear to be.
He wanted to create the kind of salon people genuinely enjoy being part of. One where talented people can do beautiful work, guests are treated like people instead of appointments, and honesty always matters more than promising something that isn’t right for your hair.
So that’s what he built.

MEET JIM
Jim knew from a young age that he wanted to do hair. After moving to Houston in 1996, he found a mentor early in his career and spent the years that followed learning, growing, and experiencing the industry from just about every angle.
Those years eventually led him to create Linear—a salon built around great people, beautiful work, kindness, and the belief that doing what you love can give you a pretty incredible life.
